What is physical rehabilitation?
Physical rehabilitation is “the treatment of injury or illness to decrease pain and restore function.” Veterinary rehabilitation can be used for many reasons—to recover from an injury or surgical procedure, as a method of conservative management, or as a tool for weight loss. It can also be used as part of a conditioning program to promote the overall health of your pet.
Dr. Brickman believes that physical rehabilitation can significantly improve the quality of life for any pet. Whether healthy, ailing, or disabled, this treatment provides the tools your pet needs to reach its highest potential.
Paw by Paw combines the professionalism of in-clinic rehabilitative services with the familiarity of your home environment. By virtue of its mobility, Paw by Paw provides comfort for the pet and convenience for the owner. This type of veterinary visit allows for increased bonding between you and your pet, as you are involved in every part of the rehabilitation process.
